Nick and I first met in 2017, we met at his field in Somerset to talk through his plans and vision for a sustainable Spa which was to take inspiration from the natural surroundings. My background is as a Spa consultant working in the Spa and Beauty industry for over 17 years starting out as a spa therapist delivering treatments to running multi award winning Spas all over the world. Nicks background is entrepreneurial in nature setting up many successful businesses across a number of industry sectors, Spa being one of them.
Fast forward 3 years and the Spa has won multiple awards and our experienced and exceptional team have worked tirelessly to deliver beautiful treatments for all.
We knew early on we wanted to create a range of products that we could use within the Spa, our own collection. Allowing our clients take a piece of the Spa home, drawing our inspiration from the herbs we grow, the real spa experiences and our guest feedback. So we created a collection of beautifully thought out, carefully crafted, Spa inspired skin and body care products. Allowing wellness to be assessable for all, whether based in Somerset or not. without the hefty price tag you would often see when visiting Spas.
Each of the ingredients and essential oil blends utilised has been chosen to perform a specific function for your skin or to ignite a certain feeling, from nourishing and hydrating evening primrose oil in our Earth body oil or the anti-oxidant rich raspberry seed oil in our Revitalising facial oil to our uplifting and refreshing blend of grapefruit, mandarin and geranium for our Wind collection. All our range are free from sulphates, mineral oils and SLS (sodium lauryl sulphate) and this was a conscious decision to allow the products to be used by even the most sensitive of skins.
We are particularly proud of the design of our products, the green leaves which feature heavily in our Spa interior design, the simple but beautiful labels and our how to use section which hopefully lets you take the spa home. We used our wonderful designer Katie (link) who also designed our branding and logo back when we first opened the Spa so she really knew what we wanted and the look and feel. The use of amber glass bottles for all our collection again was to help preserve the integrity of the oils inside by protecting against UV light as well as being easy to recycle.
Our packaging can all be recycled – we don’t use plastic bubble wrap and constantly seek new ways to reduce our environmental impact. We are proud to be part of the Offset Earth initiative where we plant 48 trees every month and offset Nicks and my carbon footprint. All of our collection is made, packaged and shipped from the UK so we have full control of the sourcing, manufacturing and distribution.
